Gellyfun is part of Hypersports Paintball & Event AB, one of Sweden's largest Paintball and Event companies. Hypersports was founded in 1999 and started out as a small paintball shop in Enskede, Stockholm. Over the years, the store has grown to become Sweden's largest and most well-stocked in paintball, and in 2012 the business was moved to larger premises in Farsta Strand, Stockholm.
In addition to the paintball shop, Hypersports has also started a number of different businesses, including Spelapaintball.com - Sweden's largest paintball facility with outdoor courses in Jordbro, Haninge and an indoor course in Farsta.
Hypersports is constantly looking for new things to introduce to the Swedish market, and after discovering the fun of Gelball games, we started to introduce the activity in Sweden at the beginning of 2022. Through Spelapaintball.com, we started offering customers the opportunity to play the game and rent equipment, while the Hypersports store started sell Gelball Blasters and the equipment to both individuals and event companies.
Later on in 2022, we began to see a significant increase in interest in the activity, and we decided to open a new online store specifically focused on Gelball - Gellyfun! The activity is mainly aimed at children, but is of course appreciated by adults as well.
Gelball games are similar to activities such as paintball and Nerf, but unlike them, small jelly balls are used for the games that dissolve on impact, leaving no traces behind. For business both business and playing at home, this is an outstanding fun activity, with no mess to clean up afterwards.
